Engineering Positions
Altivon is looking for Engineers to implement and support IP Telephony systems. Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Computer Technology, related technical discipline, or equivalent professional technical experience.
- Good knowledge of the Windows 2000 Server operating system and technologies such as domains, Active Directory, and Exchange.
- Two years experience implementing complex software applications in enterprise customer environments. Telephony experience given additional consideration.
- Demonstrated ability to determine appropriate solutions to customer technical issues.
- Proven excellence with customer-facing activities. Must have a passion for customer satisfaction, and have the ability to manage customer needs and expectations.
- Excellent organizational, time management and customer relation/communication skills.
- Analytical and self motivated, quick self-learner, team oriented, and enthusiastic.
Qualifications desired:
- MCSE.
- Knowledge of Microsoft® Exchange, SQL Server, Windows 2003 Server.
- Telecommunications, Server Hardware and/or Database platforms is desirable.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP-based networking including routers, switches, network topologies, etc.
- Familiarity with Voice over IP including the SIP protocol.
- Familiarity with telephony.
